Hi everyone,
A couple of weeks ago, I took my cat to the vet because she had blood in her
urine. Because she was peeing in the tub, which was good because I could
check the progress of the antibiotics, I ended up having to put a litter box
in my room. Well, she seemed to be doing fine. It took longer than seven
days of antibiotics to get her urine clear again. However, the other day, I
noticed she had diarrhea. I thought nothing of it because of the
antibiotics.
What I have noticed, however, is that she is consistently waking me up early
by scratching excessively in the box, and constantly wanting my attention.
This had gone away for a few days but is back again. Today, I finally
noticed that in the catbox, she strained, letting out a small squeal. I'm
wondering if anyone has ever had antibiotics not work on their cats or what
my best option is. She is 10 years old and I don't have much money. I want
to take her to the vet and although I love her very much, I'm scared about
what all the tests would end up costing. Anyone been through this? Please
help.
Thank you,

Rich,
Is she eating normal?
What kind of food do you feed her?
Is she sleeping a lot?
Is she playful?
Need for info...
