To animal lovers,

I am concerned about the way our animal cruelty laws are concerning all
animals and especially dogs. In my opinion dogs are no different to a small
child. They love they feel and they bond. I think people who hurt dogs
should be subject to same type of felony prosecution. For more information.

The Humane Society kills animals after 2 weeks if they aren't able to give
it away. They do that becuase there are so many animals they can't begin to
take care of them all without doing so. Would you suggest they immediately
stop that practice, or that we should treat small children the same way, cuz
there's a lot of kids without parents. I think there's something different
between the two that makes the practice with animals, though not pleasant,
at least understandable, whereas with people it would be unthinkable.
