Only just found out which of our two cats is spraying around the apartment,
it's the younger one about four years old, desexed female. Anyone have ideas
as to why she would do this and how I can stop it?

Thanx!

Sounds like the girl need to go to the vet ASAP.
Inappropriate urination is a sign of a disease of some kind.
A vet checkup will determine if it is a disease.

Take her to the vet to make sure if it's a medical problem or not. If not,
has anything changed? Strange cat hanging out in your yard? New people or
animals in the house? New carpeting? New furniture?

Any reason kitty would stop using the box? Is it cleaned (scooped)
regularly?  Rule of thumb is one box for each cat +one. Some cats prefer the
box in a quiet, private place. Have you changed to a different brand of
litter?

Use a enzyme cleaner made specifically for neutralizing the urine odor or
the cat will go right back to the same spots.

Once eliminating a medical problem you can try using a Feliway diffuser.
It's good for helping the cat to chill out if she's stressed for some
reason.
