We adopted a stray cat.  She is short-haired and mostly white.  She sheds
like crazy.  I need to find a really good brush that gets a lot of the loose
hair off her.  A bristle brush doesn't seem to do much.  I spend more time
cleaning it than grooming the cat.  Can anyone suggest a brush that does a
good job?  Thanks, Diane

The best brush to use is called a "slicker" and is available in any store that sells cat
supplies. It is made up of a bunch of soft wire bristles and cats love it.

Hi Diane,

You're very welcome. Both my boys love their brush. As soon as I lift it, they come
running. Then when I start to brush them, they grab my hand and push it to where they
want me to brush next.  :-)

Hi, Diane......

I've found that a comb actually works better than a brush. At least for me
and my crew. A couple of the snots hated, (with a passion), being brushed.
These same cats come running when they see the comb. Plus, I'm able to get
more hair off of them than with the brush. Less hair floating around and,
less hairballs!

I picked one up at PetsMart for about $6

Hope you find something that works well for you both.

Nina
