A friend told me about this and I am appalled. This so called game is
to shoot a virtual kitten out of a cannon and direct it to hit various
items to score points.

I have written the web site people twice about this and they have just
now replied that they will look into it. Please take a few minutes of
your time to 1. e-mail the web site people to tell them how disgusting
this "game" is and to remove it, 2. e-mail or call  the sponsors that
are listed on the web site and tell them how you think it is very
inappropriate for them to advertise on such an objectionable web site.

Anything that promotes the torture of animals just for the fun of it
is very sick. This is not hunting, nor even farming, it is virtual
torture. Experts agree that seeing this in a computer simulation
encourages some sick minds to do the real thing.

The advertisers need to hear our objections so they can tell the web
site people that their reputation is being harmed by being associated
with this terrible thing.

The "game" is

Dude you are probably just promoting this site and trying to get it more
traffic in which case good job, if not you need to lighten up. All the real
non-virtual sh.t that goes on and you want people to waste time on this?

Dude, I am not promoting this site, I really think it is a terrible
thing. Not sure why you would even think that.

As far as lightening up, most studies show that conditioning children
and those with child-like minds on video games, makes them  less able
to distinguish between virtual and real brutality. In a similar vein,
most serial killers started out abusing animals. Why allow this kind
of crap.

Trying to do good in the world is certainly not a waste of time. A
wise person once said words to the effect: "All that is necessary for
evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."

Granted, in the sceme of things, this is relatively minor, but why
tolerate it when it is so easy to at least try to do something. These
are the marks that separate a civilized society from barbarians.

1974 could not get it to record my highest score =(. This is nothing
compared to the x.box, PS2 and all that.
