We Need People To Stop The Cruel Canadian Seal Hunt

As you know, there are some outrageous clubbing of babies going on in
Canada. We are trying to get people to go to schools, group
gatherings and anyplace you can think of to collect signatures. We
will be presenting this petition to Prime Minister.

You can watch the video of baby seals being clubbed, and then you can
sign an online petition, plus download a printer friendly version for
your friends to sign.

Please help us stop this barbarity!!

If you want to stop the clubbing of seals either do away with the market for
seal fur or give the people who club the seals an economic incentive to do
something else. Ecotourism is one idea. Arrange for people to pay big $$ to
take guided tours and see baby seals which will make the seals worth more
alive than dead. Otherwise the reality is they are for the most part poor
people trying to support themselves and they will continue to club seals and
sell the fur. You people have been trying this sh.t for decades and haven't
had any great success because you don't address the demand or the financial
reasons people hunt seals for fur.
