I have about a 16 month neutered Tabby. After a play I have found a whisker
on the floor on two accasions. Does a cat shed whiskers and will they grow
back?...Thanks...Jim

This doesnt sound abnormal. Now, if he shed them all I'd be worried.
Yes, they regrow.

I have 2 cats.  My male cat has left whiskers in different places over the
years.  He is now 14 years old and has never seemed to have a problem after
losing a whisker.  I don't think there is anything to worry about.
