My girlfriend moved in with her two cats. I already had two indoor
cats. One of mine had a pissing problem..nothing real bad but
noticable. The other cats (a stray we found) did VERY well indoors.
Now, when my GF moved in with her two cats the problems started. One of
hers is just fine...rarely see him and little to know problems. The
siamese, on the other hand, is truly Satan in cat form. He began
pissing everywhere and spraying everywhere. My GF said its because he
is marking his territory because of the other cats. After too much of
this I moved my two cats out in the garage. Dweezil, the satanic
siamese, keeps spraying and marking to the point where the whole house
stinks to high heaven. Not too mention his constant vomitting on the
carpet. Personally, I am not a "cat" person but my daughter and son
loves them so I indulge them. My GF seems to have hit a brick wall as
well. Oh, did I forget to mention he, satan, had started to tear up my
couches. Please help withe the cat or at least help with my soon-to-be
relationship problems.....Thanks for your time!

He probably needs to be neutered or he has a urinary tract infection.
If it is just a behavioral issue, your vet could probably give you more
tips on how to deal with this problem and if he is scratching your
furniture, you could try soft paws.  They are little plastic things you
put on the nails of your cat as an alternative to declawing.  Or

Assure health of cat.

Neuter.

A little vineger mixed with water in a spray bottle can help deter
undesireable behavior.

This is how I trained my cats to stay off the tables.  (I don't allow
my cats ANY access to kitchen tables or counter tops.) After about the
third time of having to lick off the vineger (it's very bitter), they
get the connection.

This works for clawing on the furniture.  Scratch furniture -- get
sprayed.  Use scratching post -- get a treat.

I never yelled when I caught them in the act.  I just calmly grabbed
the  bottle and LET 'EM HAVE IT!
