happy new year to all.
for the past three months, i have been waking up with my cat (enson who
is about 17 years old) staring at me.
my husband gets up first and feeds her first. then enson runs to the
bedroom door and meows until he opens the door. she then jumps on the
bed, walks up to me (standing about 15 cm away) and looks at me quietly
until i either open my eyes or acknowledge her existence with a pat.
once she knows i am awake, she leaves the room or then curls up at the
end of the bed and goes to sleep.
does anyone know why she does this?

Probably plotting your demise. My Indy does the same thing. It creeps me out
some times.

Indy loves you. He wants to make certain you're OK before he sleeps.
