Serious you people. Do cats lick their arses or do i have a major problem
on my hands. Do I take it out back and shoot it or is this normal behavior?
Do people always ignore around here?

Since you're serious, and are really clueless about animals - how else are
they supposed to clean it's butt after pooping? It's not like they can use
toilet paper, not having opposable thumbs.
So yes, cats (and dogs) lick their a.ses to rid themselves of residual sh.t.
Occasionally, they will do the butt-scootin'-boogie and drag their a.s
across the floor/carpet/grass to do the wiping, but not as often they will
lick themselves clean.
