And......
You might elaborate as to what this is all about!

I liked the songs the Stray Cats used to sing.
If you get manditory sterilization, how is your part of the world
going to ever have more cats? You'll run out, in one generation.
Who's going to pay for sterilizing pets?
How are you going to get the wild cats sterilized? Who's going to pay
for that?
If you trap and sterilize and release, won't you end up re-surgery by
catching the same cat, later?

You can't shout down a troll.
You have to starve them.
.
Hi everyone,
My petition is really going well, and great news I have a newspaper
interested in the story.
They want to have a press release though and I am unsure about what I
should
include in it. Would anyone with experience please be able to help out
with
this?
I am thrilled as many locals will get to be informed about it as the
majority just don't even know of the councils plans.

There will always be cats who slip through the cracks in the process. I
doubt any sterilization program, mandatory or not, will EVER be successful
enough to cut out the propagation of kittens.

A lot of places that do TNR programs will cut a notch in the ear of cats
that get neutered. It's possible to mistake battle damage for an ear notch
and vice versa, but it's better than nothing.
*IF* there was a way to finance it, I think a mandatory pet sterilization
program would be an excellent idea.
